We knew Ellen from years ago when we worked for the same portrait studio, and we were beyond thrilled to reunite with her in a new country, meet the love of her life, and capture her gorgeous day in Faro!

Ellen and Daragh met in their current home of London. Since Daragh’s family is from Ireland and Ellen’s is from Brazil, knowing lots of their guests would have to travel anyway, they went for a destination for all: the southern coast of Portugal. A hundred of their family members and friends showed up from several different countries around the world to witness this beautiful day. The rolling countryside had us feeling romantic before we even arrived- but once we showed up at Os Agostos, an 18th century ranch complete with an olive press house, it was impossible not to get into the breezy, dreamlike European country vibe. Ellen was as warm and welcoming as ever, and Daragh’s words for her at the beginning of the reception had us in tears. Six Irish Men, a band from Portugal, had the whole tent hopping all night!
